Know your OSSbuy landed cost before you buy
"Landed cost" is what an item actually costs delivered to your door — the number that matters. It's five lines added together, and it's where beginners get surprised. Enter your own figures below to see the total. This tool invents no rates: you supply the numbers from the seller listing and the OSSbuy app, and it does the honest arithmetic.
You pay in two moments, not one
A big reason the total feels confusing is that OSSbuy splits payment across two stages. Knowing which line is due when removes most of the surprise.
At order — the item side
When you place a Fill&Buy or cart order you pay the product price and domestic shipping (entered in CNY, shown as a USD total), plus any agent service fee. OSSbuy is explicit that international shipping is not included at this step.
At parcel — the shipping side
After items reach the warehouse and pass QC, you Rehearse and submit a parcel. Only then do you pick a line and pay international shipping (and optional protection) from your Wallet — priced on chargeable weight, not the item's value.
Why it matters: a cheap item can look "paid for" after step one, then the parcel bill lands later. Rehearse the parcel early so line 4 is never a shock.
How to read your total
Cheap items, watch lines 2–4
On a $10 find, domestic shipping, the service fee, and international shipping can easily total more than the item. Consolidating with other items spreads that cost.
Bulky items, watch line 4
Volumetric weight can push shipping up even for light items. See chargeable weight before you commit to a jacket or a bag.
Multiple items? Estimate the parcel
Landed cost works best per parcel, not per item. Add items' costs, then a single shipping figure for the consolidated box.
